Our amazing Ladies A crew won the County Championships!
After coming through their first round comfortably on Saturday, they returned to then row the quarter finals, semi finals and final on Sunday. For the final they had to row round the course twice. Those of you that know Newquay will realise what a gruelling race that is even if conditions were calm, that afternoon they were definitely not calm, once around is plenty for most of us!! Chased all the way by Fowey, they held them behind. The best thing was that they also got drawn to row Pedn Billy. What a wonderful, strong, determined, brilliant team these Ladies are coxed and trained by George.
