We share 'Ursula's Shed' on Ferryboat Beach with Helford River Children's Sailing Trust (HRCST.) We call it the 'Oar shed.' It's here we store safety equipment such as VHF radios, lifejackets, first aid kits, boat sea safety bags and spare oars. There are also two changing rooms and power supplies for making a warm brew in those cold winter months. Toilet facilities are kindly provided by the Ferry Boat Inn.

The local parking at Helford is the Ferry Boat Inn carpark at the top of the hill at the cost of £2 per day throughout the year. As a member or Helford River Gig Club, you have the opportunity to buy a yearly ticket at a greatly reduced cost of £25. The permits are annual from April 1st to March 31st in any given year.
