There will be informal mixed racing on the Friday (7th) which you are all welcome to join in with.
Please let us know if you would like to bring your gig the night before and make a weekend of it!
Saturday we have a BBQ, refreshments, bar and live music in the evening so why not stay and

enjoy it with us.

We are all very excited to welcome everyone back to Cadgwith for a great day of racing.

1.b For Rowers / supporters – the car park and camping field is located on the Northern side of
Cadgwith and you reach it through Ruan Minor village. This route will be signposted off the main
Helston to Lizard road. Details on specific areas for parking and camping will be provided on arrival.
We are asking for a £3 per car donation for parking please.
Camping for Saturday night is also available in a designated part of the rowers car park field. There
will be a portaloo provided, and we ask that anyone who does camp respects residents and
neighbours in the Cove by keeping noise levels to a minimum please.

7. General risks. Cadgwith is a working fishing Cove with boats, vehicles, winches, wires and
equipment in use and stored. There are also the usual cliff edges and rocks you would expect to find
in and around any small cove. Also there is a road between the beach and the Gig Shed and toilets,
which may have some traffic using it during the event. Thanks to the support of local fishermen the
beach is generally less used during the rowing event, but please be aware that these risks exist and
people should take responsibility for themselves and children in their care at all times. Dogs are
welcome on leads please (dog waste bins are located in the cove) and please do not create any fires
on the beach at any time.
8. First Aid provision and defibrillator. First Aid will be provided by trained First Aiders within the
Cadgwith Club. There is a public Defibrillator provided in the centre of the Cove itself should this be
required. It is located on the wall of the building where the path to the Ladies toilets starts.
9. Toilets and handwashing. Men’s and Women’s toilets and handwashing facilities are available in
the Cove itself, please be aware that there is not an accessible toilet located in the Cove.
